aliunid collects personal data from its users.

This Privacy Policy applies, inter alia, to the following services offered by aliunid: aliunid.com (Website), any subdomains of realtimeenergy.ch, aliunid HOME App, aliunid MONITOR App and aliunid OPERATOR Webapp (hereinafter referred to as Applications).

Personal data collected for the following purposes and using the following services:

1. General

Responsible and legally compliant handling of your data is an important concern for aliunid AG (hereinafter referred to as aliunid) and the security of your data is our top priority. We comply with Swiss data protection law.

When you use the aliunid applications or connect a device to your aliunid user account, various personal data are collected . Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally (such as names, contact or usage data). Here you can find out what data we collect, the purposes for which we collect the data and what we do with the data we collect.

By agreeing to this privacy policy, you agree that your data may be processed by aliunid. The term "process" here means any form of handling data such as collecting, storing, using and disclosing.

2. How does aliunid protect your data?

aliunid takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Data transmission from the customer to the data centre is encrypted. Access to the data (e.g. for display in the app) is controlled and encrypted during transmission. The servers are protected against unauthorised access (physical and digital) and manipulation as far as possible, and the security measures are continuously improved and adapted.

In the course of improving our solution or ensuring the stability of the service, data may be temporarily stored outside of Switzerland. This only happens with selected aliunid service providers (e.g. IT support and operation, software development) and involves prior anonymisation of the data whenever possible.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

4. For what purpose is your data collected by aliunid?

We use the data collected exclusively for the provision of our services, for the processing and maintenance of the customer relationship, namely for ensuring a high quality of service, for the security of operations and infrastructure, and for invoicing.

Insofar as you have given us consent to process your data for further purposes (e.g. for the further development of our offers, for passing on your enquiry to a third-party company, for consulting, for analysing your user behaviour or for advertising and market research for our own purposes), we process your data within the scope of and based on this consent. Consent given can be revoked at any time.

5. Detailed information on the processing of personal data

5.1 Cookies

Our website sometimes uses cookies, which are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". 5.2 Analytics

The services listed in this section allow the provider to monitor and analyse traffic and track user behaviour.

5.2.1 aliunid internal data analysis (aliunid AG)

The sensor data collected by aliunid is stored exclusively on Swiss servers, in a so-called "private cloud" of the respective customers. In order to provide the services (see chapter 4), the data quality is monitored.

5.2.2 Google Analytics for Firebase (Google Ireland Limited)

Google Analytics for Firebase or Firebase Analytics is an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited.

Further information on Google's use of data can be found in Google's Partner Policy.

Firebase Analytics may share data with other tools provided by Firebase such as Crash Reporting, Authentication, Remote Config or Notifications. The user can check this privacy policy to find a detailed explanation of the other tools used by the owner.

This application uses mobile device identifiers and cookie-like technologies to run the Google Analytics for Firebase service.

Users may opt out of certain Firebase features through the appropriate mobile device settings, such as mobile advertising settings, or by following the instructions in other sections of this Privacy Policy regarding Firebase, as applicable.

5.2.3 Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited)

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"). Google uses the data collected to track and study how aliunid is used, report on its activity and share it with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network.

5.3 Displaying content from external platforms

This type of service allows users to view and interact with content hosted on external platforms directly through aliunid. This type of service may still collect web traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even if users do not use it.

5.3.1 Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited)

Google Fonts is a font visualisation service provided by Google Ireland Limited that allows aliunid to embed relevant content on its pages. Personal data processed: Usage data; Tracker.

5.4 Contacting the user

5.4.1 Contact form (aliunid)

By filling in the contact form with their details, users authorise this application to use their details to respond to requests for information, quotations or other enquiries specified in the header of the form.

Personal data processed: Email; Surname; Telephone number; First name.

5.5 Managing contacts and sending messages

These types of services allow the management of a database of email contacts, phone numbers or any other contact information to communicate with the user.

The services may also collect data on the date and time messages are read by the user and when the user interacts with incoming messages, for example by clicking on links contained therein.

5.5.1 SendinBlue Email (SendinBlue SAS)

SendinBlue is a service provided by SendinBlue SAS for managing email addresses and sending messages.

5.5.2 OneSignal (Lilomi, Inc.)

OneSignal is a messaging service provided by Lilomi, Inc.

OneSignal allows the owner to send messages and notifications to users via platforms such as Android, iOS and the web. Messages can be sent to individual devices, groups of devices, on specific topics or to specific user segments. This application uses mobile device identifiers (including Android Advertising ID or Advertising Identifier for iOS) and cookie-like technologies to run the OneSignal service.

As a matter of principle, OneSignal does not disclose any collected user data to third parties, except to those who process the data on behalf of OneSignal. Exceptions and further information on OneSignal's use of data can be found in OneSignal's privacy policy.

5.6 Managing productivity operations

These services assist the provider in task management, collaboration and general productivity management. When using such services, user data is processed and, depending on the purpose of the processing, may be stored. These services might be integrated with other third party services listed in this privacy statement to enable the import and export of the respective required data.

5.6.1 Notion (Notion Labs, Inc.)

Notion is an online text editing and workflow management service provided by Notion Labs, Inc.

5.7 Management of support and contact requests

This type of service allows aliunid to manage support and contact requests received via email or other channels, such as the contact form. The personal data processed depends on the information provided by the user in the messages and the communication methods used (e.g. e-mail address).

5.7.1 ZOHO CRM E-mail (ZOHO Corporation B.V)

ZOHO CRM E-mail is a support and contact request management service provided by ZOHO Corporation B.V.

Personal data processed: Email; Last name; First name.

6. What does aliunid do with your data?

The data you provide will be stored by aliunid and processed for the above-mentioned purposes.

We use the personal data for the duration of the business relationship. As soon as your personal data is no longer required for the above-mentioned purposes (e.g. when you delete your aliunid account), it is generally deleted or anonymised.

We only pass on personal data to third parties if this is necessary to provide our service (e.g. order data processing by IT providers or the provision of an energy service by the local utility company / the local DSO) or if you have expressly consented to this beforehand. Any further commercial use of customer data will not take place without the explicit consent of the customer. In these cases, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the minimum required.

7. What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right to obtain information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data at any time. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data.
